Assistant Salon & Spa Manager
If you are a licensed in cosmetology and have a minimum of three years of experience in management of a salon or spa, we invite you to apply for this position by submitting your resume or contacting us for an interview. You must have a working knowledge of hairstyling, cosmetic and spa procedures, bookkeeping, business operation skills, and an amiable personality to deal with clients and employees. You will be assisting the Operations Manager with hiring & training employees, regulating health, licensing and safety standards, supervising cash and credit transactions, managing inventory, scheduling a team of 50+ employees, overseeing staff education, planning events, creating advanced training opportunities, supervising a concierge team and providing the best customer experience possible. An advanced degree in business, retailing or hospitality management would be an asset but is not a requirement. Your wages will be commensurate with experience. This is a base salary plus commission position in a retail environment and will require you to work flexible hours, including weekends, and on the floor as a member of our Styling Team up to three days per week. Any management or administrative experience in a salon or spa operation would be an asset.
Guest Services & Administrative Manager
If you're interested in a position that encompasses accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory control and guest services, we invite you to apply to join our team by submitting your resume or contacting us for an interview. You will be responsible for managing the purchase and distribution of all retail and professional supply items including but not necessarily limited to, maintaining electronic and physical records pertaining to inventory, physically stocking incoming inventory, verifying physical inventory to electronic records, maintaining cleanliness and proper organization of inventory throughout the facility, receiving and verifying the accuracy of incoming inventory. As payable and receivable control, you will be responsible for verifying proper payment approval, processing payments in a timely manner, calculating, processing and disbursing payroll checks as well as filing the appropriate federal and state statutorily required forms with the appropriate authorities. All of our associates are also expected to provide guest services including but not limited to concierge services, answering telephones, scheduling appointments for guests, proper record keeping and data entry as and when required. This position requires you to have at least three years experience in accounting-bookkeeping, payroll and/or inventory management along with a technical or higher degree in any of these areas. It also requires you to have strong analytic skills, team work skills, the ability to work under pressure, good writing and math skills, be highly proficient in MS Word & MS Excel and be technically proficient to learn use of our proprietary software. This is a salaried position which will require you to work flexible hours, including weekends, to accommodate our retail guests. Any management or administrative experience in a salon or spa operation would be an asset.
