Guest Service Policies

UPDATED POLICY MASK MANDATE EFFECTIVE MAY 25, 2021

In accordance with the State of Florida and the CDC updated guidelines,

fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear masks at Divine Designs

It is recommended that unvaccinated guests continue to wear a surgical or other suitable face mask upon entry into our facility and while receiving salon or nail-spa services or in any area which is considered public or non-private but we will no longer be enforcing a face mask mandate and ask our guests to simply follow those safety guidelines which are best suited for their own personal health choices and level of comfort.

Masks may be removed once you have been escorted to your private guest suite to receive either massage or facial services and we are encouraging our team members to follow the same policies with respect to the use of facial masks.

As a guest, if you feel more comfortable with a service professional wearing a mask while serving  you in our facility - simply ask him or her to do so.

All of our team members are willing to comply with any guest who feels more comfortable being served with a masked individual.

HIPAA LAWS PROHIBIT US ASKING YOUR AS TO WHETHER OR NOT YOUR ARE VACCINATED AND THESE SAME LAWS PROTECT OUR TEAM MEMBERS FROM BEING ASKED AS TO WHETHER OR NOT THEY ARE VACCINATED - PLEASE RESPECT EVERYONE'S PRIVACY BY NOT ASKING ABOUT VACCINATIONS.

We offer incentives to our employees to ensure that their private health choices are balanced with their personal health beliefs and take into consideration the health and welfare of their co-workers as well as our guests.

Our guests should be aware that most of our service professionals have been vaccinated and those that have not been vaccinated are being encouraged to get the vaccine but Divine Designs will not mandate any employee to be vaccinated in order to provide services to guests.

While no business can guarantee a germ or virus free environment, we believe we have balanced our safety needs with our private and individual health care choices but welcome your comments or suggestions which can help us improve our delivery of services in this environment.

SYMPTOMS

If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms which include a fever, we request that you cancel your reservation and not attempt to enter our facilities.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Guests have the option of using any major credit card, a Divine Gift Card or e-Certificate, bank to bank transfers via VENMO (@Divine-Designs) or cash.

Sorry, personal checks are not accepted at Divine.

3% AMENTIES FEE

All service tickets will include a 3% surcharge to our published or quoted retail product or service pricing to cover the increased costs associated with protective equipment and enhanced sanitization for the increased safety requirements for our guests and staff as well as the use of the amenities at our facility.  Gift Cards, e-Gift Certificates, Cash payments or Venmo Bank-Bank transfers will not incur an amenities fee.

ONLINE EXPRESS CHECKOUT FORM IS OPTIONAL

Should you wish to minimize your personal of physical interaction at checkout, you may complete our Express Checkout Form online prior to checking in for services which authorizes us to charge the form of payment provided upon completion of services without you having to physically check out for your services.

CHECK IN AT LOBBY

We have resumed normal check in operations at our lobby for our guests (only).  We ask our guests to arrive in sufficient time prior to the commencement of services or complete any intake or information forms that may be required to provide services to you. You also have the option of checking in remotely from your vehicle by texting your arrival to 504-383-3511and be informed when your provider is ready to serve you.   To maintain our policy of social-distancing, there are no sitting accommodations in our lobby. 

TEMPERATURE CHECK 

All guests will be subject to a temperature check upon entry, if your temperature reads 100.4 degrees or higher you will be asked to reschedule your appointment to a later date

HAND SANITIZATION 

We have multiple stations with alcohol-based hand rubs throughout our facility and we ask that you clean your hands as you enter our premises and (preferably) wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds frequently during your visit with us.  If you see that any of these containers are empty, please notify any member of our staff immediately.

LOCKER ROOM & SHOWER USE OPERATIONAL!

Our locker rooms, showers, robes and/or slippers are now available for use by our spa guests

BLOW-DRY & FINISHING IS NOW BACK!

We have resumed our complimentary blow-dry & finishing services for all salon services!

RETAIL PURCHASES IN STORE OR ONLINE

We have resume our normal retail purchase operations, you are welcome to select products for purchase and use at home between visits or request that your service provider collect any retail products that you may wish to purchase and have it ready at the front desk for you.  You also have the option of purchasing retail products online

BEVERAGE SERVICES RESUMED

We have resumed our beverage services including complimentary coffee, tea, wine, juices or water but service will be in disposal cups and glasses

GENERAL SANITATION 

We will be sanitizing all surfaces frequently and all tools between guests

SERVICE PROVIDERS 

Our service providers will be wearing surgical masks (always) and gloves (when practical) during services

COVER YOUR MOUTH

Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze and put your used tissue in a waste basket.  If you don’t have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve, not your hands.

MINIMIZE TOUCHING SURFACES

Our staff are required to frequently clean all frequently touched surfaces in the workplace, such as workstations, counter tops, and door handles but you should minimize your personal risk by avoiding touching any surfaces with your fingers if at all possible and use your elbows to open doors or use a tissue when you need to touch any surface that may be a viral depository.  Please remember to discard the tissue in a wastebasket.

KEEP HANDS CLEANED

Keeping hands clean through improved hand hygiene is one of the most important steps we can take to avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others. Many diseases and conditions are spread by not washing hands with soap and clean water and you should take the time to frequently wash your hands (preferred) or use the hand sanitizers that we have placed in strategic locations throughout the building.  You should also carry your own sanitizers for use in spa rooms, bathrooms or other private areas.

BASIC HYGIENE RULES

We understand that the Covid-19 virus is similar to viral flu-like outbreaks we have seen in the past.  You can minimize your potential contact by simply following the same hygiene rules as you would for any influenza seasonal viral outbreak and while this may not guarantee your protection, it will reduce the possibility significantly.
